About Brighton DBIA
The Brighton Downtown Business Improvement Area (DBIA), led by The Board Of Directors, oversees the improvement, beautification and maintenance of municipally-owned land, buildings and structures over and above what the Municipality covers. Additionally, the DBIA promotes the area as a business and/or shopping area.
Membership consists of property and/or business owners within DBIA boundaries, with each member allowed one vote at the Annual General Meeting.
All members are welcome to attend monthly meetings and, with notice, may submit issues of interest for discussion and/or resolution. Members elect the Board Of Directors, who are then appointed by the Municipality Of Brighton, and all work is volunteer.
Location
Brighton is located approximately an hour and a half East of Toronto and West of Kingston on Hwy #2.
